I Keep My Sleeves Up

What I wear suggests who I am...

I keep my sleeves up because you may have some preconceived notions about magicians hiding things and might lump me in with them. I could keep them down and say, "trust me, I'm not like those other guys", but when has that sort of thing ever appeased your doubts? Besides, I think it is generally rude to ask for trust. It is something people who haven't earned it do. A wise man once told me, "if you can't command it, you can't demand it".
